With over twelve years industry experience, Lyght House Cocktails’ owner and mixologist, Carmaleita Willis Lyght, brings a great attitude, new ideas and an exceptional team to all of her events.  She learned the trade of mixing under her father’s leadership.  “Joe Willis,” as he is affectionately known, taught her everything from service with a smile to knowing how to deliver the best drink, demands attention to detail and knowing your client.  Carmaleita grew up in Augusta, GA with a full house to include her mother and father, a sister, two brothers and a few dogs along the way.  “Everyone in the Willis household knows a little something about how to serve up a good drink!”  The family business has expanded so much so that even Carmaleita’s husband knows the business almost inside and out.  As a matter of fact, he was the inspiration behind her company name and brand design.

Believing in the value of sustainability and continuous education, Carmaleita currently belongs to two professional organizations, Southern Charm Bridal and Event Professionals and StudioWed.  Both organizations have given her insight into the Atlanta wedding industry; while also allowing her to “move and shake it up” with Atlanta’s most talented industry experts.  Carmaleita constantly seeks out opportunities to create long-lasting relationships, through connecting with like-minded professionals.
